Year 7 Maths
This program covers all the components of the national curriculum (and all relevant state variations). In Year 7, students start to explore the use of pronumerals and the language of algebra. Students develop a range of mental and technological strategies to enhance their computational skills. They also acquire a variety of ways to demonstrate and communicate their mathematical understanding.

Dr Samuels and her Education team developed ºÚÁÏÍø's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.
Maths Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, ºÚÁÏÍø’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Athraa completed her Higher School Certificate in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 83.15. She then went on to study her Bachelor of Pharmacy at The University of Sydney. Athraa wants to help students as best she can in areas of study which they struggle in. She is a reliable and positive Tutor who communicates clearly. Daniel completed his International Baccalaureate Diploma with a score equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95. He completed his Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biomedical Science in 2020 and went on to commence his Doctor of Medicine, both through the University of Queensland. Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.

First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
