Students learn about complex language features, varied sentence structures and expand their vocabulary. Over the year they also learn a significant number of new high-frequency sight words and words that need to be decoded phonically, and a range of punctuation conventions, as well as an understanding of how literary devices, illustrations and diagrams make meaning in printed text. They create a range of written texts of their own for various purposes and audiences.

Dr Samuels and her Education team developed ºÚÁÏÍø's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.
ºÚÁÏÍø's Primary English learning programs are based on the Australian National Curriculum for K-6 and focus on core literacy skills, including reading and writing techniques in the early years, and grammar and punctuation in the senior years. Our personalised approach gives your child the opportunity to slow down in the areas they find challenging to ensure they ‘get it’.
Our tutors are all qualified teachers, exceptional ATAR achievers or experts in their respective fields.

“My 10 year old has had a 'in person' tutor before ºÚÁÏÍø but they didn't really engage him and it wasn't effective. Our experience with ºÚÁÏÍø has been really great for him, Melissa has really engaged him and worked with his personality so well. I think online tutoring at home worked especially well for us, its easier and the tutors are fantastic. As a result, his confidence with English has really grown. We are very happy with ºÚÁÏÍø learning and would happily recommend them.”
