Terms and Conditions (apply to all plans)
Payments
Payments for sessions are taken in advance based on your selected plan. This advance payment is charged at the time of enrolment (or when switching to this pricing plan) and thenmaintainedthrough a weekly billing cycle. Each week,you’llbe charged foradditionalsession/s to ensure your account alwaysremainsthe required number of sessions ahead.
Starter Pack sessions
Starter Pack sessions are theinitialdiscounted sessions offered at the beginning of yourenrolment. These sessions are designed to help you experience our tutoring approach at a lower upfront cost.
No credits or refunds are provided if Starter Pack sessions are cancelled or missed.
If a session is cancelled due to aerror, we may offer a credit or a discounted future session at our discretion.
Starter Pack sessions can be rescheduled (within policy), but they are not refundable unless there is a failure in’sability to deliver the service.
If you transfer to another plan, any unused Starter Pack sessions will beretainedand can be used under your enrolment.
Starter Pack sessions are only available once per enrolment.
Rescheduling sessions
Your plan allows the reschedule of a 1‑to‑1 tutoring session free of charge up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time. Rescheduled sessions must take place before the next recurring session in the same weekly slot, and where the same tutor is unavailable, other tutors may need to beutilised. Each session can only be rescheduled once.
Cancellation of sessions
Under your plan, any paid session needs to be used before the next scheduled session. Cancelling a session will result inforfeitingthe session fee.
Pausing an enrolment (outside of school holidays)
Pausing outside ofpublic schoolholidays is notpermitted.
Summer Holiday pauses
Your planprovidesthe option to pause or continue sessions during the public schoolSummerholidays in the student’s state of residence.
Autumn, Winter and Spring holidays
Your plan allows you to skip sessions scheduled during the Autumn, Winter, and Spring public school holidays (based on your state of residence) in exchange for a make‑upvoucher(Voucher). To receive avoucher, the session must be cancelled at least one day before the scheduled start time, and thevouchermust be used by its stated expiry date.
Vouchers
Vouchersare make‑upvoucherswhich can be redeemed through the “Add Session” feature in yourCustomer Hub. Eachvouchermust be used before its stated expiry date. Unusedvoucherswill beforfeitedafter expiry.
Make-up sessions
Sessions booked using avouchermay be rescheduled up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time. Rescheduled sessions must occur before the next recurring session in your weekly schedule. If your regular tutor is unavailable, another suitable tutor may be assigned.
Each make‑up session can only be rescheduled once. If a make‑up session is cancelled by the customer or missed, it cannot be credited or reissued.
Notice period and enrolment changes
Notice period
To cancel an enrolment, change your pricing plan, or stopservices,you must provide the minimum notice period that applies to your selected plan, as outlined in the Plan Overview table above.
Cancelling an enrolment
The required number of sessions are paid in advance and will be used to complete your enrolment. They are not eligible forrefundor credit.
Changing plans
If you switch to a different pricing plan, the new plan will take effect after the sessions already paid in advance have been completed.
Refunds
If youraccount is cancelled (no active enrolments), only unused session credits beyond the applicable notice period will be refunded (e.g. credits from eligible cancelled sessions or unused make‑up sessions).
* A credit card surcharge may apply to cover the processing fees associated with the type of card used for payment. The surcharge is calculated as a percentage of the transaction amount:
- 0% (No surcharge) for Visa Debit cards
- 0.60% for MasterCard Debit cards
- 0.80% for Visa Credit cards
- 1.10% for MasterCard Credit cards
- 1.6% for American Express cards
These surcharges are not greater than our cost of acceptance.
