Achieve your best as you study in detail the texts, concepts and skills that matter most to success in Senior English. You will read and respond to literary and other texts, analyse diverse representations of the world, and strengthen your own skills in the expression of your creative ideas and insights. From working with everyday texts in their many forms to exploring in depth specific works of poetry, drama, fiction, nonfiction, film and new media, you'll grow as a learner with ºÚÁÏÍø there to support you.

Bianca completed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019 with an ATAR of 95.85 then going on to commence her Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, with majors in Film, Television, Communications and Media Studies and a minor in Linguistics. During her time at school she was a Peer Mentor, helping Year 7-10 students with English and Humanities subjects. Bianca mentors her students with a positive, constructive attitude to help her students with any needs, from improving their writing, oral presentation skills or examination skills.

Tom completed his Bachelor of Secondary Education in Literature and Cultural Studies in 2013. He taught for 3 years as an English Teacher from 2015-2017, moving on to English as a Second Language teaching internationally. Tom has experience teaching all secondary years and has experience with children with special needs. Tom is a passionate Tutor and hopes to share his love for literature with his students.

Phoebe is currently studying towards a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from LaTrobe University, specialising in English, Literature, Humanities (History Revolutions) and Arts (Studio Arts and Vis. Comm.). She has over five years of experience tutoring English to both Primary and Secondary students. She also has experience preparing students for selective school entry as well as helping prepare students for examinations. Her main aim is to encourage her students to enjoy the learning process and set them up for success.

Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
